نفذت وحدات الأمن الداخلي في محافظة ريف دمشق، بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، وبالتنسيق المشترك مع قوات التحالف الدولي، عملية أمنية نوعية ومحكمة في بلدة حتيتة التركمان بمنطقة المليحة، وذلك في إطار الجهود المستمرة لملاحقة الخلايا الإرهابية وتجفيف منابعها.

وأفادت وزارة الداخلية في بيان اليوم بأن العملية أسفرت عن اعتقال متزعم خلية إرهابية تابعة لتنظيم داعش، بعد عملية رصد ومتابعة دقيقة، حيث تم ضبط كميات من الأسلحة المتنوعة والذخائر المختلفة، إلى جانب وثائق ومستندات تثبت تورطه المباشر في أنشطة إرهابية تهدف إلى زعزعة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

وأوضحت الوزارة أنه جرى تحريز المضبوطات وفق الأصول القانونية، وتحويل المقبوض عليه إلى إدارة مكافحة الإرهاب لاستكمال التحقيقات اللازمة، تمهيداً لإحالته إلى القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية الرادعة بحقه.

وكانت الوحدات المختصة في وزارة الداخلية، بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة وقوات التحالف الدولي، قد نفذت في وقت سابق عمليتين أمنيتين؛ استهدفت الأولى أحد أوكار تنظيم داعش الإرهابي في المعضمية بريف دمشق، وأسفرت عن اعتقال متزعم التنظيم الإرهابي في دمشق “والي دمشق” المدعو طه الزعبي الملقب “أبو عمر طبية”، وعدد من مساعديه، فيما أسفرت العملية الثانية في بلدة البويضة بريف دمشق عن مقتل الإرهابي محمد شحادة المكنّى “أبو عمر شدّاد”، الذي يُعدّ أحد القيادات البارزة في تنظيم داعش ويشغل منصب “والي حوران”.

The Internal Security Units in Rif Dimashq Governorate, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate and in joint coordination with the International Coalition forces, carried out a special and precise security operation in the town of Hatita al-Turkman in the al-Maliha area. This comes within ongoing efforts to pursue terrorist cells and dry up their sources.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release today that the operation resulted in the arrest of a leader of an ISIS terrorist cell, following a careful monitoring and tracking operation. Various quantities of weapons and ammunition were seized, along with documents proving his direct involvement in terrorist activities aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region.

The ministry pointed out that the seized items were confiscated according to legal procedures, and the detainee was referred to the Counter-Terrorism Department to complete the necessary investigations, in preparation for referring him to the competent judiciary to take the appropriate legal measures against him.

Previously, specialized units of the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate and the International Coalition forces, conducted two security operations; the first targeted a hideout of the ISIS terrorist organization in al-Muadamiyah, Rif Dimashq, resulting in the arrest of the organization's leader in Damascus, “Wali Dimashq,” named Taha al-Zaabi, nicknamed “Abu Omar Tibiya,” along with several of his aides. The second operation in the town of al-Buwaida, Rif Dimashq, resulted in the killing of the terrorist Muhammad Shahada, known as “Abu Omar Shaddad,” who was one of the prominent ISIS leaders and held the position of “Wali Hauran.”
