نظمت كلية الهندسة الميكانيكية والكهربائية اليوم احتفالية تحت عنوان “عامٌ من المجد والحرية” بمناسبة الذكرى الأولى للتحرير والنصر، وذلك تحت شعار “لنرفع أصواتنا بالفرح ولنحيي معاً روح الحرية والوحدة ولنجعل هذه المناسبة علامة مضيئة في طريق المستقبل”، في ساحة البناء الأحمر بالكلية.

تحسينات نوعية شهدتها الكلية بعد التحرير

أكد عميد الكلية الدكتور مهلب الداود خلال الاحتفال أن هذا اليوم يمثل محطة متجددة في مسيرة الجامعة، تعيد من خلالها دورها الطبيعي كمنارة للعلم وفضاء للكرامة، مشيراً إلى أن السنوات الصعبة التي مر بها الوطن لم تستطع أن تطفئ نور المعرفة أو تعرقل مسيرة المستقبل التي يصنعها الطلاب بعزيمتهم وإصرارهم.

وأشار الداود إلى سلسلة التحسينات التي شهدتها الكلية مؤخراً، بدءاً من تجهيز المختبرات العلمية وإعادة تأهيل القاعات الدراسية، مروراً بتعزيز الأنشطة البحثية وإقامة المعارض المتخصصة لمشاريع الطلاب، وفتح آفاق التعاون العلمي مع مؤسسات وطنية ودولية وأكاديمية ضمن فعاليات المعرض، مؤكداً التزام الكلية بالبقاء نموذجاً للعمل الجاد والبيئة الأكاديمية الداعمة لطلابها وأساتذتها، وداعياً إلى جعل هذا اليوم نقطة انطلاق نحو عمل أكاديمي أكثر قوة وعطاء.

محطة مفصلية في تاريخ الوطن

أوضح مدير المعاهد التقانية محمد الحسين أن ذكرى التحرير تجسد إرادة الشعب السوري الذي صمد خلال خمسة عقود من الظلم والتدمير، مبيناً أن عزيمة السوريين كانت أقوى من الطغيان، وهم قادرون اليوم على إعادة بناء وطنهم ورفع راية الحرية من جديد، مؤكداً أن تضحيات الشهداء ستبقى دليلاً يوجّه مسيرة بناء سوريا جديدة حرة وموحدة، وأن هذه الذكرى تشكل عهداً متجدداً لاستعادة الأمن والاستقرار وترسيخ قيم العدالة والمساواة بين جميع أبناء الوطن.

أكد عميد الكلية التطبيقية رائد الشرع أن ذكرى تحرير سوريا تمثل محطة مفصلية في تاريخ الوطن، مشيراً إلى أن بناء المستقبل يبدأ من العلم والابتكار وإرادة أبناء الوطن، وأن الأساتذة والطلاب يتحملون مسؤولية ترسيخ وطن قائم على المعرفة والتقدم والعمل المشترك ووحدة المجتمع، داعياً لأن تكون هذه المناسبة خطوة نحو مستقبل تُسخر فيه العلوم لخدمة الإنسان.

انتصار إرادة الشعب وسقوط أبشع نظام

اعتبر نائب رئيس جامعة الشام الخاصة للشؤون العلمية والبحث العلمي محمد نهاد كردية أن تحرير سوريا انتصار لإرادة الشعب على الطغيان، والكرامة على الظلم، والحق على الباطل، وثمرة لدماء الشهداء وصمود المعتقلين وتضحيات المهجرين، مشيراً إلى أن المرحلة الجديدة تبدأ بالبناء وتأسيس دولة العدالة والقانون التي تصون كرامة الإنسان، وأن سوريا الحرة هي التي تجمع كل أبنائها وتنبذ الانقسام لتعود قلب الأمة النابض.

وأعرب الطلاب المشاركون في الاحتفالية، سارة نبهان وزينة مصاص وعبد الرحمن علوم وزكريا يحيى إبراهيم، عن سعادتهم بالتحرير وأجواء الاحتفالية المليئة بالبهجة، معبرين عن مشاعرهم المختلطة بين الفرح والحزن بسبب 14 عاماً من المعاناة والقهر، مؤكدين على أهمية تكاتف الجميع لبناء سوريا موحدة وعادلة.

واحتفل الشعب السوري قبل يومين بالذكرى الأولى للنصر وتحرير سوريا من النظام السابق، وهي مناسبة وطنية تدخل من خلالها سوريا مرحلة جديدة تؤكد تطلعاتها نحو مستقبل أكثر أمناً واستقراراً وازدهاراً.

Significant Improvements Witnessed by the Faculty After Liberation

During the celebration, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mahlab Al-Dawood, stated that this day represents a renewed milestone in the university’s journey, restoring its natural role as a beacon of knowledge and a space for dignity. He pointed out that the difficult years the country endured could not extinguish the light of knowledge nor hinder the future path forged by the students with their determination and perseverance.

Al-Dawood highlighted a series of recent improvements in the faculty, from equipping scientific laboratories and rehabilitating classrooms to enhancing research activities, organizing specialized exhibitions for student projects, and opening scientific cooperation horizons with national, international, and academic institutions during the exhibition events. He affirmed the faculty’s commitment to remain a model of diligent work and an academic environment supportive of its students and professors, calling to make this day a turning point towards stronger and more productive academic work.

A Pivotal Milestone in the Nation’s History

The Director of Technical Institutes, Mohammad Al-Hussein, explained that the liberation anniversary embodies the will of the Syrian people who endured five decades of oppression and destruction. He emphasized that the Syrians’ determination was stronger than tyranny, and today they are capable of rebuilding their country and raising the flag of freedom anew. He affirmed that the sacrifices of the martyrs remain a guiding beacon for building a new, free, and united Syria, and that this anniversary represents a renewed pledge to restore security and stability and to consolidate justice and equality among all citizens.

The Dean of the Applied Faculty, Raed Al-Shar’a, confirmed that Syria’s liberation anniversary is a pivotal moment in the nation’s history. He noted that building the future begins with knowledge, innovation, and the will of the nation’s people, and that professors and students bear the responsibility of establishing a country based on knowledge, progress, cooperation, and societal unity, calling for this occasion to be a step toward a future where sciences serve humanity.

A Victory for the People’s Will and the Fall of the Cruelest Regime

Mohammad Nihad Kurdiya, Vice President of Al-Sham Private University for Scientific and Research Affairs, considered Syria’s liberation a victory of the people’s will over tyranny, dignity over oppression, and truth over falsehood. He described it as the fruit of the martyrs’ blood, the steadfastness of detainees, and the sacrifices of displaced persons, noting that the new phase begins with building and establishing a state of justice and law that preserves human dignity. He added that free Syria is the one that unites all its people and rejects division to become the beating heart of the nation.

Participating students Sarah Nabhan, Zeina Massas, Abdulrahman Oloom, and Zakaria Yahya Ibrahim expressed their happiness with the liberation and the joyful atmosphere of the celebration, sharing mixed feelings of joy and sorrow due to 14 years of suffering and oppression, emphasizing the importance of unity in building a united and just Syria.

Teknik Enstitüler Müdürü Muhammed El-Hüseyin, kurtuluş yıldönümünün beş on yıl süren zulüm ve yıkıma direnmiş Suriye halkının iradesini temsil ettiğini açıkladı. Suriyelilerin kararlılığının zorbalıktan daha güçlü olduğunu ve bugün ülkelerini yeniden inşa edip özgürlük bayrağını yeniden yükseltebileceklerini vurguladı. Şehitlerin fedakarlıklarının, özgür ve birleşik yeni Suriye inşasında rehber olmaya devam edeceğini ve bu yıldönümünün güvenlik, istikrar, adalet ve eşitlik değerlerinin pekiştirilmesi için yenilenmiş bir taahhüt olduğunu belirtti.
